With WRL since 1997, Joe is a copywriter, public relations director, account representative, and the administrator of the copywriting internship program and the scholarship program. Joe has written radio copy, completed marketing projects, has received the ADDY award from the Canton Ad Club multiple times, and has published seven novels.

Joe’s pet peeve about the industry is that “The major agencies have lost sight of the fact that we’re in the business of selling products and services. They’re not selling that. They’re selling attitude. It's still possible to have an effective ad campaign by talking about what’s in it for the customer.”
