Web Programming Internship

Are you a programmer about to graduate from college, looking for a foot in the door? Do you have a passion for (open source) programming? Then you will be interested in WRL's (open source) web programming internship position.

WRL Advertising is looking for an open source web programming intern to work in a fun, fast-paced ad-agency environment. Candidates will collaborate with the current team to maintain sites and develop dynamic websites and on-line applications.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Candidates should have experience and/or interest in open source object oriented languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, or Java.
The ability to leverage *nix development tools a plus.

  • A student resume (PDF, RTF, ODF or HTML formats accepted) that details experience and background as it relates to the required skills listed above.
  • A list of requirements (if any) needed for the participating student to receive college credit for the internship.
Contributions to open source projects will be considered.
