Web_icon Borrieci Promoted To Emarketing and Social Media Position

Todd Locke, President of WRL Advertising announced the promotion of local sales manager Jim Borrieci to the position of E-Marketing and Social Media Director.

In his new position, Borrieci will help clients with search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaigns, web site analytics, email marketing campaigns and social media. He will also continue to support client branding and marketing needs and head the Account Management Internship program.

"This is a great move for everyone involved," Locke said, "It allows us to take Jim's areas of expertise and focus them in on the needs of our clients in their use of the Internet, and streamlines the process of providing services like SEO."

Borrieci earned a degree in E-Marketing and Advertising from The University of Akron in May 2005. He joined WRL while still a student through their internship program in January 2005 and accepted a full-time position in May of that year. He was named Local Sales Manager in January of 2008 at the age of 25.

Currently he is a member of the American Marketing Association and is on the board of Sales and Marketing Executives International. He is also a frequent guest teacher at The University of Akron and Walsh University, and appears at other Stark County Colleges and Universities as a recruiter for WRL's internship program.
