Todd Locke, President of WRL Advertising announced today the promotion of senior copywriter Joe Clifford Faust to the position of PR Director. He has been serving as interim PR Director for the Canton based full service advertising agency since November of 2008.

As PR Director, Faust will assist clients with Public Relations Strategies by developing media contacts, press releases, web strategies and special events. He is also in charge of updating news on WRL's website, www.wrladv.com, and edits the agency's e-mail newsletter.

Faust joined WRL in January of 1997 as a copywriter. Since then he has worked on hundreds of projects including copy for television and radio, print, direct mail, billboards, press releases, multimedia and the web. He has also written special projects for clients, such as ghost writing speeches and magazine articles, and worked on teams to develop branding concepts for clients.

He lives in "suburban Akron / Canton" Ohio with his wife and has two grown children. Faust also works on personal writing projects after hours. His credits include published seven novels and plays written for his church's yearly Vacation Bible School program.
