Zoar native and Kent State University student Lauren Holdsworth will be spending the summer with WRL Advertising as a Junior Account Executive as part of the agency's internship program.
Holdsworth is a 2005 graduate of Canton South High School who will matriculate from Kent in December of this year with a BA in Applied Communication. As a WRL intern she will assist and observe creative projects as they pass through the WRL’s development process, learn about the different media used in advertising, and work with the sales team to acquire new accounts and maintain existing clients.
"We have a very immersive intern experience here," said C. Todd Locke, WRL's president. "Our interns become a part of the team and experience an advertising agency as insiders. It gives them a real chance to see if they like the work and us the chance to see how they perform as employees."
Persons interested in the WRL Intern program should check the agency's web site at http://www.wrladv.com/internships.
