Lauren M. Ventosa has joined WRL Advertising as a Graphic Design Intern. Born in North Canton, she graduated from Hoover High School in 2004 and attended Walsh University for one year. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Art with Concentration in Multimedia at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio.
Ventosa has served as a Video Conferencing Technician at Franciscan University, has worked for Cleveland Clinic as an Applied Behavioral Analysis Tutor for families with autistic children and was the Assistant Manager of Children’s Orchard in Uniontown.
Proficient in Spanish, she is a certified Applied Behavioral Analysis Tutor as well as being certified in web design. She used her spring break for a mission trip to New Orleans to assist in rebuilding homes that were destroyed by hurricane Katrina and has worked to help the homeless in Pittsburgh.
Ventosa said she became familiar with WRL when she heard radio advertisements for the agency. She hopes the intern experience will pave the way for a career in the web design industry.
