Wrl_icon WRL Helps Sponsor Ohio LinuxFest 2009

Members of the WRL Web Department are preparing for a trip to the state capital this weekend as WRL helps sponsor the 7th Annual Ohio LinuxFest, Free and Open Source Software Conference and Expo.

The theme for this year's expo is "40 Years of UNIX." WRL artist Cheryl Molnar designed the Program Guide, the Conference Pass, and the T-shirt.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that WRL has been involved with the conference. Other event sponsors include IBM, Google, Oracle, Novell, Red Hat, and SourceForge (ThinkGeek).

This year's conference is September 25 - 27 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, OH. Prices for attendees vary, but the Enthusiast Pass, a special one-day admission for students, newcomers and the Linux-curious, is free.
