by Jessica TrambleyWelcome to the team

WRL Advertising is delighted to report that the last twelve months have been a resounding success, and in keeping with our commitment to further enhance our services, we’ve hired two new team members – Amanda Haut and Kristen Wenger. They will be instrumental in expanding our portfolio of existing WRL clients as well as bringing fresh ideas to the table.

“Our focus on delivering the highest caliber of services across the board has been a hallmark of WRL Advertising for years,” said President Jeff LeBeau. “This move will help us extend our reach and expand our capabilities even further.”

Haut, an Akron University graduate, joins our sales team looking to make an immediate impact. She comes to us with prior agency experience and a knack for delivering innovative marketing solutions. Her responsibilities include securing new business as well as managing client relations and agency projects.

“We are excited to have Amanda join WRL’s sales team,” said Jon Molnar, vice president of sales and marketing.  “Amanda comes to us with agency experience along with vast knowledge on the digital marketing side and we look forward to her growing with us!”

Wenger recently graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Visual Communication Design. In her role at the agency, she will focus on developing meaningful visuals that capture our client’s message, goals, and mission. Prior to joining WRL, Wenger worked as a freelance artist and oversaw web design for several small businesses.

“We are excited to have Kristen (and a fellow Golden Flash) join the WRL creative family,” said Tracy Aleman, senior art director. “Her incredible talent and constant enthusiasm have been wonderful additions to our team and we look forward to seeing her talent continue to thrive!”

Why did you get into this field?

Amanda: I always had a love for creativity, but wasn’t lucky enough to have a creative brain. Marketing allowed me to be analytical and still challenge myself to be creative without it affecting the team (we have pros for that).

Kristen: I’ve always been a creative person growing up.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Amanda: To be in two places at once

Kristen: Freezing time. Sometimes the snooze button doesn’t quite cut it and I wish I could sleep as long as I need.

If you could have dinner with anyone present or past, who would it be?

Amanda: My Mother-In-Law

Kristen: Meryl Steep (as her Mamma Mia character)

Do you have any pets?

Amanda: An ornery cat named Smokie

Kristen: Yes, I have two black cats. Their names are Bo and Petey. I wish they loved me as much as I love them.

What are some of your favorite TV shows?

Amanda: New Girl and The Office

Kristen: Seinfeld, Barry, Ozark, and New Girl

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Amanda: I have had 5 concussions from horse and farm accidents… I also could just be clumsy and reckless!

Kristen: My middle name and my better half’s first name are the same.
